The mid sweetness of this wine makes it perfect for enjoying on the deck at the cottage or just relaxing at home. Chilled nice and cold, Amber Glow is a pleasure to enjoy during the hot summer months.
Serves well with BBQ chicken, light pork dishes, or fresh fruit salads and light cheeses.

The golden colour of this mid sweetness aperitif wine is a nice start to a beautiful pear aroma with nutmeg and cloves showing through on the latter part of the bouquet. Nice body with the same characteristics on the front to the middle of the palate that finishes off to a crisp yet enjoyable finish. Serve our Autumn Pear Wine with baked pears, with caramel sauce or use to make a cider with cinnamon.

Berry Melody

Berry Melody is a delightful blend of Black Currants, Raspberries, Apple and Saskatoon berries. Made as an easy drinking wine to be enjoyed slightly chilled it gives you the black currant on the fore palate, a mix of apple and saskatoon in the middle and finishes off with a nice raspberry with a hint of sweetness on the back. You can use this wine as a neat marinade for pork tenderloin with a homemade sweet and sour hiosin sauce.
Berry Melody is just a nice wine for summer parties.

Elegant Elderberry

  • 2003 Toronto Wine & Cheese Show - Bronze
Award Winner!
Elderberry has the most grape-like aroma of all fruit wines.  Created as an off dry, this wine has a wonderful floral bouquet with hints of elderflower.  A nice tart mid-palate which finishes with a soft sweetness.  Elderberries rate the highest of any fruit in anthocyanin pigments, associated with the consumption of healthy red wines.

Peach Passion Wine

Peach Passion

Bright pale straw colour. The first impression suggests chardonnay, with subtle peach, tropical fruit and petrol aromas. Jammy on the palate, with sweet fruit flavours bolstered by a lightly tart acidity. Good body and length, smooth and round with a dry finish. This peach wine is a terrific match for BBQ chicken.
$12.95

Prairie Berry

Similar to Berry Melody, this is a blend of Saskatoon berry, Apple and Raspberry. It has a sherry type nose that gives off an aroma of cooked raspberries with a hint of caramel. Strong alcohol greets your palate and controls your taste buds through a rush of flavours that finish off with a touch of sweetness. Definately useable for marinade on tougher cuts of beef or venison mixed with a few spices it creates a great glaze.
Drink well chilled by itself or use in a sangria mix.

Raspberry Rapture Wine

Raspberry Rapture

Brilliant peachy, apple red. Delicate aromas of ripe raspberries, spice, apple, and a touch of citrus. Shows a nice burst of sugar on the fore palate, but finishes dry. Subtle, laid-back berry flavours. Good body and quite long, with a nippy acidity on the fruity back palate. Would be an ideal stand-in for Riesling although the colour will be a give-away. Try this raspberry wine with roast pork.

Flaming candy-apple pink with a touch of cranberry in the colour. Port-like on the first approach, followed by red currants and a bit of caramel. It presents a citrusy nip up front and light smokiness on the back palate. Just a hint of sugar yet it finishes quite dry. Very good body, length and evolution. Think in terms of a pink sauvignon blanc that will go well with seafood or BBQ chicken.

Riesling Wine

Riesling Supreme

This wine is a unique blend of riesling with gooseberries. Describing this wine is a challenge in itself because it has the best of both worlds in it. It shows off the Riesling in the palate and gooseberry on the nose and finish so it is truly unique. If you love Riesling by itself it is a must try, but if you love gooseberry it is also the same, a must try.
One of our winemaker's favourite whites. Serve chilled with or without dinner. Wonderful wine.
$14.95

Scarlet O'Hara

Named for its vibrant colour, this wonderful blend of Strawberry and Cranberry starts with the smell of fresh strawberry jam. This off dry wine, starts your palate racing with hints of creamy fruit and fresh acidity. This wine finishes crisp while the acid from the Cranberry cleanses your palate. A nice alternative to traditional blush wines. Serves well with turkey, chicken or pork.

Brilliant, deep apricot in colour. Juicy cooked strawberries and orange pulp on the nose. Soft and sweet on the palate, subtle berry flavours with a touch of citrus, finishing quite dry. Pale garnet in the glass. Full blueberry aromas on top and slightly vinous, with nuances of black currant and perfume. More blueberries follow on the palate, against a firm acidity and a hint of tartness. Starts with a touch of sugar but finishes dry. Nicely structured, with medium body and fruit developing nicely through the finish. Full of blueberry character, but not blatantly so. Our blueberry wine is a nice aperitif and not just for blueberry fans.

In Europe, Cassis Black Currant is mixed with white wine to give a very exquisite drink called Kir. Cassis and champagne is aptly named Kir Royale. We have found that if you mix Cassis and Gooseberry supreme on a 1:2 ratio, you obtain an equally exquisite drink.
Name for mix anyone? Maybe Kountry Kir or Black Goose!

Canneberges Fraise

A thick and delicious dessert style wine made from strawberries blended with cranberries. Similar to the Scarlet O'Hara, it has the wonderful fresh strawberry jam nose. Full bodied strawberry sweetness meets you as you begin to enjoy this wine and just like that it drops to a drier finish that most do not expect from the cranberry.
Amazing with fresh strawberries, or fruit salad, it also goes really well over Frensh Vanilla ice cream. Great length.

An Elderberry wine created in a dessert style.  It possesses healthful attributes associated with Elderberry red wine.  Being sweeter, the full compliment of elderberry bouquet and taste is experienced.  Drier than ice-wine for those who consider ice wines too sweet.

Brilliant candy apple pink. Enticing aromas of pink grapefruit and garrigue, with hints of apple and raspberry. Tangy with an inviting sweetness, fading to sweet fruit flavours. Very good body and long, with very good fruit development through to a tangy close. My vote is for crème caramel or Gorgonzola.

A touch of the tropics is what you will find in this delightful unoaked, "sur lie", Chardonnay. The bouquet begins with the traditional green apple but then gives way to pineapple and melon. Mid weight in the mouth with the fresh fruit showing itself and finishing off dry and pleasant. A real crowd pleaser that serves well with almost everything or just as an enjoyable wine by itself.

Halton White Wine

Halton White

This is a first for the Region of Halton, grown right here in Halton Hills.  This wine is the first commercially produced grape wine from French Hybrid grapes, grown at the Toccalino vineyard, situated on the sunny slope of the beautiful Niagara Escarpment in Halton Hills.  An excellent easy-to-like, high quality, food friendly white wine that is a testimony to the success of growing grapes outside of Ontario's traditional viticultural areas.
Halton White is a blend of Auxerrois, Seyval Blanc, Vidal and Cayuga White, grape varieties.  It has a very clear, pale straw colour with a light green glint accompanied by a mild lemon-skin aroma with hints of pineapple and green-mango.  A fleeting hint of grape jelly is also present.  Full textured with crisp acidity, balancing residual sweetness ('1' on the sugar scale) and warmth (13.7% alc.).
$12.95

Halton Red

Blend of Baco Noir, Lucy Kuhlmann and De Chaunac; 12.1% alc. Deep and saturated black-ruby with magenta highlights. Aromas of tulips and linden flowers give way to tart red berries, hints of brown sugar and an earthy undertone - all framed by a subtle oak aroma. Tangy acidity is balanced by a substantial, almost glycerolic palate feel and a dusting of tannin. Just a bit of residual sugar is noted. Tasty and full-textured; well balanced. Long, earthy finish.
$12.95

Marechal Foch

Marechal Foch is a Medium Bodied red wine. It is purple with blue-black hints. Marechal Foch has an herbal, spicy, intense dark fruit aroma. Dry with fresh acidity, light tannins, moderate alcohol. An unusual wine for those who like old-style Foch.
